3D Brows Tips & Tricks: Saline Removal using a digital machine
3D Brows founder Patty Willardsen demonstrates the motions used to remove pigment from the skin using a saline solution.   When pulling ink out of the skin we typically recommend using a circular motion for larger areas, and for fine small areas we use a shoveling technique as demonstrated.  Both shoveling and circles are a more aggressive movement than a whipping or stippling motion.

Saline Removal Step by Step
  • Numb client the same way we numb for a brow procedure
  • Remove one side and start tattooing in LI-ft in a circular motion
  • Once finished, wipe off blood and product and apply a fresh layer of LI-ft
  • Remove the next side and start tattooing in LI-ft in a circular motion
  • Once finished, wipe off blood and excess product and apply a fresh layer of LI-ft • RE-NUMB with BLUE GEL or TAG45
  • Start your second pass, tattooing in LI-ft in a circular motion
  • Once done, wipe off excess blood and product and apply a fresh layer of LI-ft\Continue doing this, alternating sides until the brow looks finished or the client is unable to take the pain.
